In a statement personally signed by himself yesterday, Senator Lado outlined the government’s efforts to address critical national issues, including ensuring security, reducing unemployment, and enhancing food security.

He emphasised that these initiatives are part of the broader goal of repositioning various sectors of the Nigerian economy for long-term success.

As the nation marks its 64th Independence Anniversary, Senator Lado congratulated all Nigerians for the significant progress achieved despite numerous challenges.

He called for a moment of reflection on the sacrifices made by the country’s founding fathers, whose visionary leadership paved the way for Nigeria’s freedom and independence.

“The occasion of this anniversary calls for reflection on the sacrifices of our founding fathers – visionary leaders like Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Ahmadu Bello, and Chief Anthony Enahoro – who defied all odds to lay the foundation for our independence,” Senator Lado said.

He urged Nigerians to renew their commitment to building a more united and prosperous nation for future generations, emphasising the importance of collective action in achieving the Nigeria of their dreams.
