A support group of the All Progressives Congress (APC), BAT 4/4 Initiative, has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory in the judiciary and achievements within 100 days in office, saying it is a sign of a greater nation ahead.

The group, in a statement signed by its director general, Engr Dan Ohiomoba, said Tinubu had shown tremendous leadership in his first 100 days in office, noting that his courage in tackling insecurity is a signpost of a greater Nigeria ahead.

He described the president as a guru and iconic leader with extensive experience in the private sector, as well as a successful politician and a Godfather with a lot of ideas in wealth creation and development.

Ohiomoba said, “We want to expressly appreciate Your Excellency for the mature and high calibre administrative and leadership initiative you have employed in your avowed selfless leadership vision and focus. Despite the antics of traducers and agent provocateurs, Your Excellency has not cowed under the barrage of opposition shenanigans and innuendos.

“This is the boldness we have, Your Excellency. This is the springboard of the boldness that we wield in these rather precarious times of enormous and varying national, sub-regional, and regional politico-democratic challenges.

“Your Excellency has adopted and employed high-class political and ministerial posts in the likes of Hon. Minister Nyesom Wike (who is a no-nonsense person), Hon. Minister David Nweze Umahi (who has so much passion for development) and other experienced good hands you have appointed, it is a very clear indication that this Government is not business as usual.”

BAT 4/4 Initiative also noted that the myriad of internal and external leadership challenges that the president had to contend with in few days of his stay in Aso Rock have proven that he is prepared and ready for the job entrusted on him by Nigerians.

“More so, the local economic upheavals that you helplessly met upon assumption of office have been faced head-on by your experience-laden administrative team,” Ohiomoba stated.

The group further commended the Nigerian military for cooperating with the president in helping and protecting Nigeria’s democracy and for their continued support for democracy, saying  the issues of local insecurity and terrorism have started crumbling gradually.

“We commend the president for his strength and courage towards the removal of fuel subsidies and other policies.

“We appreciate your unwavering commitment to public service and your willingness to tackle the challenges that come your way. Your leadership is a source of pride for all of us, and we look forward to the positive changes that lie ahead under your guidance,” it added.
