Tinubu’s Ally, Senator Abu Ibrahim, Not Dead — Family

The family of Senator Abu Ibrahim has dismissed rumours making the rounds that the elderstatesman, who represented Katsina South Senatorial district in the Senate, was dead.

According to a statement by Muhammad Abu Ibrahim for the family on Sunday, he said the rumours, which began mid-afternoon on Saturday, June 1, 2024, were untrue.

“Our attention has been drawn to rumours of the death of our dear father and elderstatesman, Senator Abu Ibrahim, which began mid afternoon on Saturday, the 1st of June 2024.

“The family wishes to state that the information is untrue; Senator Abu Ibrahim is alive and in good health.

“To this end, we sincerely appreciate the concerns and prayers of many, including friends, associates, and well wishers who have reached out to confirm.
