“This event serves as a testament to the importance of environmental stewardship, and as we witness the vibrant array of flora surrounding us, let us be reminded of the responsibility we bear to protect and nurture our environment, and by extension, mother earth. Each plant, each flower contributes to the delicate balance of our ecosystem, and it is our duty to ensure their continued existence for generations to come.

“May this garden show today not only be a showcase of horticultural excellence, but also a platform for dialogue and collaboration towards a more sustainable and harmonious coexistence with nature, may the connections forged here today inspire us to become ambassadors of environmental conservation and advocates for the preservation of mother earth’s rich biodiversity,” she said.

Also, wife of the former vice president, Dolapo Osinbajo, emphasised the beauty and love that plants bring to our spaces, such as homes, offices, and trees while advising Nigerians to celebrate their uniqueness using examples from flowers.
