Abia Warriors are close to finalising a move for defender, Innocent Gabriel from nine-time league champions, Enyimba.

The Umuahia-based club are strengthening their team for their maiden campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Abia Warriors have identified the player as an ideal addition to help in their continental engagement.
Gabriel featured for Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup last season.

The 27-year-old played in all of Enyimba’s matches in the competition.

Gabriel also made 27 league appearances, netting once.
