Trinity Varsity Trains 740 SS3 Students On Societal Growth

As part of its efforts to train students for a better future, the management of Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos, in partnership with Etiquette Poise and Protocol Resources (EPRA) has trained 740 SS3 students from 14 secondary schools in Lagos.

Addressing the participants, the vice chancellor of Trinity University, Prof Clement Kolawole, charged the parents and the students against engaging in destructive friendship both in school or outside school.

“We are delighted to have you join us for what promises to be an enriching and transformative experience. As you embark on this critical journey, we are committed to equipping you with valuable insights to make informed career choices, to inspire and guide you towards fulfilling your aspirations and achieving your goals in life.

“Trinity University and EPRA’s commitment to cultivating essential values like culture, etiquette, poise and decorum remain steadfast, and we are excited to provide a platform that will enable students to learn soft skills.”

On her part, the dean, Faculty of Arts Management and Social Studies, Trinity University, Dr (Mrs) Folakemi Ohunakin, charged both parents and the students on choosing the right friends.

“Remember, you are your friends. The company you keep can either make or break your academic journey and your future life. Choose friends who will positively influence you, promote discipline, and help you achieve your academic and social goals,” she said.

Similarly, the director/faculty lead, Etiquette Poise and Protocol Resources, Olutunji Oladimeji, charged parents and the students on having a flawless future life.

According to Oladimeji, etiquette and protocol resources are steps towards having a nice society as the students after graduation from schools as they are a road map, charting a way for successful life.
