At the conclusion of the event, Tulip House topped the medals table with an impressive 87 points, narrowly ahead of Hydrangea House, which secured second place with 86 points. Iris House claimed third place with 84 points, while Dahlia House finished fourth with 62 points.

The vibrant competition attracted dignitaries from various sectors, as well as a large turnout of parents who came to support their children. The event was inclusive, featuring not only students but also parents, teachers, invited schools, and alumni participating in various activities, which added to the day’s excitement.

In an interview with LEADERSHIP Sports during the event, the Principal of Noble Hall Leadership Academy for Girls, Ashish Gill, expressed pride in the students’ performances, emphasising the invaluable life lessons that sports impart.

“It was a day filled with fun, excitement, moments of victory, and moments of loss. However, the most important lesson that sports teach us is the spirit of sportsmanship—working as a team, being courageous, supporting one another, and accepting defeat with grace,” he remarked.

The Vice Principal, Paul Ogbuehi, also underscored the significant impact of sports on education.

“Sporting activities play a crucial role in the holistic development of girls. While education shapes their intellect, sports cultivate discipline, resilience, and teamwork.

“This competition is not merely about winning medals; it’s about instilling a competitive spirit, encouraging healthy rivalries, and teaching our students that excellence requires effort,” he stated.

The school’s sports teacher, John Shagi, expressed excitement and gratitude for the successful execution of the competition.

“Organising this event from start to finish was no easy task, but I am thrilled and thankful for its success. The children gave their all, and I could see the joy on their faces.

“They performed exceptionally well, and most importantly, they learned valuable lessons about teamwork, perseverance, and leadership,” she added.
