Tunisia Envoy Meets Buni

The Tunisian government has expressed willingness to partner with the Yobe state government in commerce, agriculture and education.

Tunisian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Mohsen Antit, disclosed this today when he paid a courtesy visit to Yobe state Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON.

He explained that Yobe State has potential that would benefit both the Tunisian and Yobe State business communities.

“We are willing to explore these potentials to benefit our people and governments.

“We will arrange for exchange visits between the business communities so they can appreciate the potential and the mutual benefits available for the two communities,” Mohsen said.

In his response, Governor Mai Mala Buni assured the Ambassador of his government’s commitment to promote the partnership.

He said, “ We have huge arable lands and energetic youth readily available for agricultural engagements, education and other areas. Similarly, our vibrant business community is ready for the partnership,” Governor Buni said.

The Governor said the government would support the exchange visits to promote the partnership.

He noted that the newly completed cargo Airport would contribute to the proposed partnership between Yobe State and Tunisia.
