Bobboyi stated this while declaring open a three-day leadership training workshop for Vice Principals of UBE Model Smart Schools organised by the UBEC Digital Resource Center, Abuja.

The executive secretary who spoke through the national coordinator of the UBEC Digital Resource Center (DRC), Prof. Bashir Galadanci, also  charged the school managers to mentor and coach young school leaders in the manner that would prepare them properly for future administrative roles.

Also speaking in the same vein, the Head of Capacity Building at the DRC, Dr. Hafsat L. Kontagora, equally emphasized the need to train school administrators in leadership competencies as part of the Smart School system.

Kontagora who delivered a welcome address at the occasion further noted that it was essential to enhance the capacity of vice principals to mentor and coach smart school teachers to perform their duties effectively.
