UFOs: 4 Fascinating Facts You Need To Know

Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) have been fascinating humanity since ancient times though strange things in the sky weren’t always referred to as UFOs, the United States Air Force first coined the term “UFO” in 1953 to document and analyse any incidents in which a flying object was noted in official reporting.

Hereunder are some facts about UFOs that will interest you:

1. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) once convened an independent study team to create a road ap for future study of sightings. The team’s final report noted that there is no evidence pointing to extraterrestrials.

 

2. Every July 2, people oberve World UFO Day to remember the alleged UFO crash at Roswell in 1947.

3. On August 4, 2020, the U.S Department of Defence came up with the term “UAP,” or “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena,” as another term to describe UFOs.

4. An apparent UFO battle was reported in 16th-century Europe. Also, in the 1560s, people living in Germany and Switzerland reported seeing strangely shaped objects doing aerial battle and flying around.
