Ultimum Limited, a rising player in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector and producer of the Razzl brand of carbonated soft drinks, is set to commission its new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Aba on Wednesday, March 25.
The facility, located in the Osisioma industrial cluster, will serve as the main production hub for Razzl beverages, which are available in four variants: Pamplemousse, Cola, Orange, and Lemon. According to the company, the plant is equipped with modern technology to ensure production efficiency, consistency, and compliance with international quality standards.
The new plant is expected to improve product accessibility for consumers across the South-East, South-South, and other regions of Nigeria. It is also projected to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs in technical, administrative, and distribution roles. The investment will benefit local suppliers, logistics partners, and other businesses in the Razzl distribution chain.
Speaking ahead of the commissioning, the managing director of Ultimum Limited, Austin Ufomba, said the facility reflects the company’s confidence in Nigeria’s industrial potential. “Our purpose is to consistently produce world-class beverages that refresh Nigerians while meeting the highest standards of quality, safety, and taste,” he said.
Ufomba added that the plant would allow Ultimum Limited to deliver beverages at scale, empower communities, and set new benchmarks for manufacturing excellence. “We are proud that Ultimum Limited is a Nigerian company with African roots, well-positioned to meet consumer needs and preferences,” he noted.
The commissioning ceremony will be attended by the governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Otti, alongside senior federal and state government officials and industry leaders, highlighting Aba’s growing status as a hub for industrial innovation and manufacturing in Nigeria.
