Ebonyi State governor David Umahi has described the award given to him by Rivers State governor as a recognition of the corporate and personal relationship between him and the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
Umahi in his acceptance letter to Wike dated December 1, 2022, said that the award is in recognition of people with shared vision and passion for the socio-economic prosperity of the states.
The governor who expressed joy over the award conveyed his acceptance of the offer to be awarded the Grand Service Star of Rivers State.
The award will be conferred on the Governor on the 3rd of December, 2022 at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Port Harcourt.
“I view this as an inestimable honour and a rare stimulus on my modest contributions to nation building.
“Please Your Excellency, accept always, the assurances of the affectionate considerations, esteemed regards and best wishes of my family, the government and people of Ebonyi State,” he said.
