The global president of the United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC) and the newly appointed United Nations Rescue Marshal, Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, has outlined comprehensive strategies to promote peace in Africa.
Ojadah shared these strategies while delivering a keynote address at an event attended by top government officials, diplomats, and business leaders. The event focused on “Consolidating Peaceful Coexistence in Nigeria and Africa.”
In his address, Ojadah emphasized the critical need for harmony, understanding, and sustainable development across the continent.
He outlined ten strategic pillars to foster peaceful coexistence: dialogue and communication, education and cultural exchange, conflict resolution mechanisms, economic empowerment, good governance, religious tolerance, traditional and cultural practices, responsible media practices, community engagement, and regional and international cooperation.
“Our topic of consolidating peaceful coexistence in Nigeria and across Africa is paramount for fostering harmony, understanding, and sustainable development on the continent,” Ojadah emphasized.
As a United Nations Rescue Marshal, Ojadah’s role is pivotal in enhancing public trust, advocating for improved disaster response policies, strengthening international collaborations, securing resources for emergency response, inspiring humanitarian leadership, and attracting international investment.
Ojadah, a distinguished Nigerian diplomat, businessman, humanitarian, and philanthropist, hails from Aviarha, Delta State. He has made significant strides in international trade and investment diplomacy, engaging with diplomats from the EU, AU, and UN.
