The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has supported 10 Adamawa State schools with instructional materials to boost teaching and learning in public schools.

Head of UNICEF Field Office Bauchi, Mr Abdulrahman Ibrahim, while distributing the instructional materials in Yola yesterday, said 210 Ipad tablets, 10 projectors and internet facilities were given to public schools and the American University of Nigeria (AUN) in the state.

Ibrahim said the Nigerian Learning Passport (NLP) signifies a paradigm shift, where the power of technology and knowledge converge to create an environment that fosters growth, innovation, and equal opportunities for all.

He urged the benefiting schools to make good use of the items aimed at reducing school drop outs in the state.
