President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been urged to unite Nigerians after assuming office on May 29.
Founder of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, Adamimogo Worldwide Prophet Sam Olu Alo, who stated this also appealed to all Nigerians to look beyond religious, tribal, political or primordial sentiments and support the incoming government with their prayers to succeed.
Alo, who posited that the emergence of the President-elect is God ordained, told Tinubu not to let the Nigerians who voted for him down.
The man of God also called on the government, philanthropists and corporate organisations to establish more industries to curb unemployment and encourage youth entrepreneurship in the country.
Alo, who admonished Nigerians to emulate Alhaji Aliko Dangote who has been doing his best to create jobs for the teaming unemployed youth described the inauguration of Dangote Refinery as a welcome development saying it has capacity to create tens of thousands of jobs.
“If we have 10 of Dangotes in Nigeria who will cooperate with the incoming administration and create establishments that will help in reducing unemployment, we will experience peace and calmness.”
He stated this while speaking with newsmen at the concluding session of the ministry programme held at the Adamimogo Jesus City, Lekki-Epe, Expressway, Lagos.
At the event tagged “Exodus (Ayajo Majemu): No More Limitation” he said, “When the President-elect assumes power, he should know that Nigerians repose a lot of confidence in him and he must work assiduously to make the country great again”.
Alo said God wants to use the incoming administration to give hope to Nigerians and urged the president-elect not to fail and let the people down as such will throw the citizenry into more woes and hardship.
Praying for the President-elect to succeed, he said “70% of the newly elected officials will swear to an oath either with the Bible or the Qur’an. This means that it is incumbent on them to do what is right that will bring peace and prosperity to the country.”
The cleric, who noted that political awareness of Nigerians has grown and they are well positioned to make their choices on who they want in power across board, added that the upset that happened in the last elections are pointers to whoever will come to power to do the right things because they will one day give account.
Stressing that the government alone cannot solve the problem of unemployment in Nigeria, he advised the private sector to support the government by investing in industries to create jobs for the people and put an end to criminality and other vices among the youth.
“Developed countries are benefiting heavily from private sector players who are intentional in investing in improving lives, strengthening communities, and stimulating societal growth and sustainable development.”
Alo expressed optimism that the incoming administration of Bola Tinubu would encourage and support entrepreneurs by creating an enabling environment for investment and businesses to thrive.
He also counseled him to fix the nation’s economy and unite the people.
“The country, Nigeria, today can be likened to a wall with many cracks which calls for the wisdom of Tinubu to establish unity and peace in the country.”
