The United For Kids Foundation has taken a significant step toward shaping the future by empowering the next generation of leaders.

The foundation, dedicated to supporting underserved Nigerian children, recently hosted its 2024 Summer Camp for over 100 primary school leavers from ten Lagos State schools. The three-day program culminated in a grand finale on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

The event featured a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, dance competitions, debates, and presentations celebrating Nigeria’s heroes.

Ojodu Group of Schools emerged as the winner, with Adebule Primary School, Archbishop Tailor Primary School/Kuramo Primary School, and Victoria Island Group of Schools taking second, third, and fourth places, respectively.

The Vice Chairman of the United For Kids Foundation, Adesuwa Ladoja highlighted that the camp aimed to equip participants with social skills, decision-making abilities, and other essential competencies for their future education.

Project coordinators Oladunni Balogun and Eucharia Agu noted their enthusiasm as they observed the children growing more confident and independent while forging new relationships.

The judging panel, including Ms. Obarise Adesuwa and Mr. Olutayo Irantiola, ensured a fair evaluation of the performances, contributing to an enriching experience for all involved.

“The United For Kids Foundation remains committed to empowering young lives through impactful, sustained interventions designed to educate, inspire, and unlock the potential of every child. The foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities for all children to thrive, ensuring that no child’s future is limited by financial constraints.
