United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and the North-East Development Commission have canvassed greater collaboration in infrastructure, renewable energy, climate change, and waste management in North East states.
The deputy regional director, UNOPS, Dalila Goncalves, who disclosed this when she paid a courtesy visit to the commission’s liaison office in Abuja said besides the completion of two oxygen plants in partnership with the Commission, it has also signed an engagement with Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) to procure anti-malaria medicines as part of efforts to eradicate the menace.
“We have received very good feedback on our collaboration so far, and we are really very pleased and very grateful for it,” she said.
