US Singer Ashanti Expecting First Child With Nelly

43-year-old Grammy award-winning singer, Ashanti, is pregnant with her first child after rekindling her romance with Rapper Nelly.

The baby will be Ashanti’s only child for now, while Nelly, who is a father of two, became a grandfather at 49 after his daughter Chanelle, 29, welcomed a baby.

The US Weekly confirmed on Monday that Nelly and Ashanti were expecting their first baby together.

Ashanti and Nelly dated on and off from 2003 to 2013 after meeting during a Grammy Awards press conference. In April, the duo sparked reconciliation rumours when they were seen holding hands at a boxing match in Las Vegas.
