United States Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, have welcomed the birth of their baby boy, Alec Neel Vance.
The announcement was made in the early hours of Monday through a post shared on the Vice President’s verified Facebook page.
In the statement, the Vance family expressed joy over the arrival of their newborn and confirmed that both mother and child were in good health.
“We are excited to announce that our baby boy, Alec Neel Vance, was born this morning. Usha and the baby are happy and healthy, and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother.”
The Vice President and his wife also extended appreciation to the medical team that assisted with the delivery, acknowledging the role of healthcare personnel at Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit.
“The incredible military doctors and staff members of Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit have been a blessing. We are deeply thankful for all they have done for our family.”
