Vivacity Development Unveils EcoNigeria, Pledges Youth Empowerment

Vivacity Development, a trailblazer in sustainable initiatives, orchestrated an extraordinary side event during the 28th Conference of the Parties (COP 28), uniting dignitaries and empowering youth for an inspiring occasion.

Sponsored by Uganda Airlines, the event showcased the groundbreaking “EcoNigeria Pledge: Personal Climate Commitments,” aiming to engage and empower over 20 million Nigerians. This innovative project encourages diverse individuals to take personalized actions against climate change.

Youth leaders took center stage, steering discussions on environmental responsibility, highlighting the crucial role young voices play in shaping the future. Dignitaries present included Hon Sunday Dare, Senator Tokunboh Afikuyomi, Senator Yinus Akintunde, Bayo Onanuga, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Tunde Raman, and a representative of Executive Governor Lagos State Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Featured speakers were Bayo Adams, AkinWole Omoboriowo, Kemi Areola, and Titi Oshodi.

Key dignitaries expressed support for the EcoNigeria Pledge, recognizing its potential to drive positive change nationally. The interactive session emphasized the importance of individual contributions in the fight against the climate crisis.

The highlight was the official launch of the EcoNigeria Pledge, encouraging participants to make personal commitments to sustainable practices, catalyzing a collective consciousness around environmental responsibility.
