WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons Resume Training Ahead Of Botswana Clash

The Nigerian senior female team, Super Falcons, are scheduled to return training on Tuesday evening after resting on Monday.

Falcons’ Head coach, Justine Madugu permitted the squad to unwind on Monday following their impressive 3-0 victory over Tunisia, which marked a triumphant start to their campaign in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Media representatives will be granted access to the initial minutes of the session, providing a unique opportunity to capture the team’s preparations ahead of their next challenge.

As the Super Falcons gear up for their second Group B fixture against Botswana, expectations are high for the match scheduled to take place at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca on Thursday, kicking off at 8pm Nigeria time.

Currently, Nigeria tops Group B with three points, following an impressive start to their campaign.

The squad, buoyed by their recent success, is determined to maintain momentum and secure another vital win as they aim to secure their 10th title at the tournament.
