Nora Häuptle’s side has impressed with their superb attacking style of play at the ongoing 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, remaining unbeaten in the competition with two wins and one draw. Kundananji, who plays for the NWSL club Bay FC, has scored three times for Zambia and has also received two Woman of the Match awards.

Ahead of the game with Nigeria, the elegant striker stated that they are not intimidated by facing the nine-time champions.

“We wanted to top the group, but unfortunately, we didn’t score enough goals. That said, we’re not bothered by our position; we’re focused on the bigger goal,” Kundananji told FAZ Media.
