War On Terrorism: IAWPA Hails Nigeria Airforce

As the war against terrorism continues with recorded successes, the International Association of World Peace Advocates IAWPA have hailed members of the Nigeria Airforce for major successes which has helped in the elimination of terrorists in their hideouts.

The association with members cut across the globe made this know in a statement signed by its international spokesman Amb Emmanuel Nkweke in Abuja.

IAWPA which enjoys a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council ECOSOSC since 2019 commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Defense for not paying lip service in its fight against terrorism. It urged Nigerians to rally behind the members of the Nigerian military who have been staking their lives in defense of the country stressing that what they need most is support from Nigerians and not criticisms.

“We have reported cases of air attacks on terrorist hideouts which has made the efforts of the Nigerian ground forces easy. The air bombardments at Kurebe, Shiroro, Niger State as well as the most recent attacks against terrorists hideouts in Zamfara where Nigeria Air Force jets bombed the hideout of a notorious terrorist and gun runner, Mallam Ila in Manawa village, Shinkafi are strong testimonies of the good works of our gallant air men under the present Chief of Air Staff Air Marshall Isiaka Oladayo Amao. We as a foremost player in the pursuit of Global as well as regional peace are really proud of their efforts and pray they continue with the good works” the statement added.
