We Must Protect, Preserve Our Peace, Security, Yobe Govt Tells Youths, Others

The Yobe State government has called on the people especially the youths to work towards protecting the peace and security being enjoyed across the state.

The State’s Ministry of Home Affairs, Information and Culture has in a statement endorsed by the commissioner, Hon Abdullahi Bego emphasized that “Let’s Protect Our Peace and Security”.

The commissioner said, “In Yobe State, we have come a long way after many years of insecurity caused by the Boko Haram insurgency.

“Almost every one of us has a story to tell about our individual and collective suffering due to the insurgency. As peace returns to our state now, we must work hard to protect and preserve it.

“We shouldn’t allow any subversive element to breach our peace.
