The Federal Government has announced the establishment of Nigeria House Davos ahead of the 56th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2026, scheduled to hold from January 19 to 23, 2026, in Davos, Switzerland.

According to a statement issued on Friday by the director of information, State House, Abidoun Olajundoye, Nigeria House Davos will be Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade and is intended to serve as a strategic platform to showcase the country’s economic reforms, investment readiness, institutional capacity, and cultural identity to the global community.

The Presidency said the initiative wqs designed to strengthen foreign direct investment flows, deepen strategic partnerships, and advance Nigeria’s global economic positioning in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.

Nigeria House Davos is being delivered through a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) framework involving relevant government ministries, including the Federal Ministries of Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, alongside private-sector partners. Eviola & Co Integrated Services Ltd is serving as the lead coordinating and executing organisation, working in consortium with Lex-Con Advisory Services Ltd and UFAM Services Nigeria Ltd, as well as international technical and delivery partners.

The platform will function as a national convening space for ministerial engagements, policy dialogues, investment meetings, cultural diplomacy activities, and bilateral discussions during the WEF. Its programme will span five thematic days focusing on solid minerals and mining value chains; trade infrastructure and agriculture; climate investment, energy and environmental sustainability; digital trade and technology; creative economy and cultural exports. Issues of finance, legislation, investment security, and investor assurance are expected to cut across all sessions.

The Presidency noted that Nigeria House Davos aligns with global practice, where countries use national platforms at the World Economic Forum to advance economic diplomacy and international engagement.
