Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yobe Command, SP Dungus Abdulkarim disclosed this in Damaturu, Yobe State, saying the suspect used a log of wood to fatally assault the victim.

According to the PPRO, investigation was underway, and the suspect will be arraigned in court subsequently.

He noted that the victim, a polygamous husband with two wives and five children, including the suspect, leaves behind a grieving family.
