Wikki Tourists have made good its decision to part ways with four players ahead of the second half of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. The players released are Edward Lawrence, Philip Johnson, Uche Onwuasonaya, and Lewis Dadong, all of whom have been deemed surplus to requirements by the Bauchi Elephants.
As the team looks to strengthen their squad, it is expected that new signings will be made to replace the departing quartet. Reports indicate that Wikki Tourists struggled during the first round, finishing with five wins, eight draws, and six defeats in 19 matches.
