A 25-year-old woman (name withheld) has cut off the manhood of her 75-year-old lover, Daniel Jaja, over alleged attempted rape in Adamawa State.

Jaja, a resident of Mukuvinyi village in Mubi local government area, had invited her to his house on the 18th October, 2023.

A release by the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Command, Adamawa State, Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje said that the accused invited his victim to his house and suddenly started advancing towards her in an attempt to rape her, and that his victim resisted the attempt.

He said, “Investigation, so far, revealed that the victim while trying to prevent the act, used a razor blade and cut the man’s penis leaving him with serious injury and now on admission at a hospital receiving treatment”.

Nguroje disclosed that the commissioner of police, Afolabi Babatola, who frowned at the ugly incident, directed the officer in charge of the Family Support Unit of the command to take over the investigation and ensure diligent prosecution.
