The Yobe State Ministry of Health and the State Primary Health Care Board (SPHCB) in collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) and other development partners have concluded plans for the conduct of the four-day National Immunization-Plus Days (NIPDs) campaign in all local government areas of the state.
A statement signed by the head of department, ministry of home affairs, information and culture, Ali Musa Yawale, which was made available to Leadership Weekend in Damaturu yesterday said the campaign would focus on children under five years and each child would be given a potent polio vaccine (OPV) and other routine vaccines house-to-house and designated primary health care facilities in the state.
