The executive secretary of Yobe State Emergency Medical Ambulance (YEMABUS), Dr Abdullahi Danchua, has called on residents, community leaders, and stakeholders to utilise its 24/7 rescue services, accessible via the toll-free number 112 or the alternative line 09169981792.

Speaking to journalists, the executive secretary disclosed the importance of saving the emergency contact numbers for prompt use during emergencies.

He said, “ Let me tell you that our team is always ready and available to provide timely rescue and medical services to ensure the safety and well-being of our people.”

He described this initiative as part of the numerous innovations championed by Governor Mai Mala Buni, aimed at achieving universal healthcare coverage and prioritising the welfare of citizens.

He added that, through this system, the government is ensuring swift emergency response and offering free ambulance medical services to the public.
