Yoruba Youths To Feature Tinubu As African Man Of The Century

The 2023 Yoruba National Day is expected to feature the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as African man of the century.

The president-general, Grand Council of Yoruba Youths (Agbarijo Egbe Odo Yoruba) Comrade Awa Bamiji who disclosed this to journalists said in Ibadan said the arrangement was to stage this year’s edition under the chairmanship of Araba Ifayemi Elebuibon, Araba of Osogbo and Agba – Awo of Yorubaland, in grand style and in full preparation of the millions of people of the South west region for the next year’s general elections coming up between February and March.

He said they will also endorse three APC Southwest states’ gubernatorial candidates, listing them to include Mr. Babajide Sanwo – Olu (Lagos), Prince (Dr) Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Senator Teslim Folarin (Oyo).

He added that the bestowment of the beautifully carved Odu’a Ori Olokun Awards would be bestowed on Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  as Africa man of the Century.

He added that it would tolerate only speaking of Yoruba language throughout.

According to him, the topic of discussion, “2023 Yorubaland Electoral Victory, Is Our Turn, Bring It Forward” to be delivered by former Chairman, Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Ondo State, Ambassador Sola Iji, international human rights’ activist, former two- time (2003 and 2007) gubernatorial aspirant in Osun State, Otunba Jumoke Ogunkeyede (JMK), Osun State and the Kogi State born most popular former president, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), who was severally incarcerated by military Juntas during the June 12 struggles, Comrade Segun Mayegun.
