Singer Seun Kuti has slammed his colleague, Burna Boy, over his recent fight with DJ Tunez. Kuti said Burna Boy’s behaviour shows that he “lacks values.”

In a video posted on his Instagram page, Seun Kuti criticised the reported attack on the DJ at a Lagos club. He said it was “foolish” for a big artist to use his men to beat up a fellow African.

LEADERSHIP reports that a video of the fight went viral earlier this week. The incident has sparked widespread anger in the music industry. Some DJs have even threatened to stop playing Burna Boy’s songs to show their support for DJ Tunez.

“I have been in DJ Tunez’s shoes before, and I know how it feels,” Seun Kuti said. “What you did does not change anything. It only shows you are a low vibration person.”

However, many fans on social media have reminded Seun Kuti that Burna Boy once gave him an expensive necklace as a peace offering after an old argument. While some people supported Seun for “telling the truth,” others said he should have stayed quiet because of the gift.
