Zamfara APC Chairman, Hon. Kabiru Moyi Birnin Magaji, said the appointment of the former governor reflected Tinubu’s confidence in Yari’s capacity to deliver victory for the party.

Birnin Magaji expressed optimism that, with Yari leading the campaign structure, President Tinubu would secure a landslide victory in Zamfara in the 2027 presidential poll.

He said Yari’s experience as a two-term governor, coupled with his grassroots network and understanding of Nigeria’s political terrain, would be vital in coordinating the party’s campaign across the country.

Liman, who spoke on behalf of APC support groups including the Shehi Movement and Yari 774 Initiative, assured the President that the groups were ready to work under Senator Yari’s leadership to mobilise support and deepen grassroots engagement ahead of 2027.

He called on party members to embrace unity, sacrifice and commitment, noting that the task ahead required collective effort to ensure APC’s victory at all levels.

Senator Yari served as governor of Zamfara State for two terms between 2011 and 2019.
