The prestigious annual league is sponsored by Zenith Bank Plc in collaboration with the Nigeria Basketball Federation.

Following two morning matches at the same venue, First Deep Waters will take to the court against the reigning champions at 1pm, with the Olukoya girls expected to showcase the skills that earned them the title of the best team in the country last year.

The day’s fixtures will kick off at 9am with a match between Sunshine Angels and Bayelsa Blue Whales, followed by a contest at 11am where First Bank will go head-to-head with Delta Force. The final match of the day is scheduled to begin at 3pm, featuring IGP Queens taking on Dolphins.

Dame Adaora Umeoji, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank Plc, has expressed her commitment to the growth of the women’s basketball league, which the bank has sponsored for nearly 20 years. She assured fans that the competition would continue to expand and improve each year.
