Zenith Women’s Basketball League Tips Off July 1

The Nigeria Basketball Federation in collaboration with title partners Zenith Bank, have released the schedule for the 2025 NBBF/Zenith Bank women’s basketball league season, which will tip off in July

The first phase of the campaign, which is the preliminary stages, will take place from July 1-9 across the Savannah and the Atlantic Conferences simultaneously. The venue for games in the Savannah Conference will be the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, while games in the Atlantic Conference will be played in Ilorin, Kwara state.

Upon completion of the first phase, there shall be the zonal playoffs, which will be held from 1-9 August. The city of Jos will be the venue for games in the Savannah Conference, while hostilities in the Atlantic Conference shall be held at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium in Benin City, Edo state.

 

Teams that qualify from the zonal playoffs shall embark on the last phase, which is the national finals, which will be played in Lagos.
