France head coach Zinédine Zidane has named Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Adrien Rabiot and Jules Koundé as the national team’s four captains.
Mbappé, who has made 106 appearances for Les Bleus, will retain the armband.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Dembélé will serve as vice-captain. The winger has 67 caps for France.
Adrien Rabiot, with 66 caps, and Jules Koundé, with 56, complete the leadership hierarchy.
According to RMC Sport, Zidane’s choices were largely guided by seniority in the national team.
Zidane replaced Didier Deschamps in the role after the 2026 World Cup.
