“Can you tell us a little about yourself?” Luba asked the young man. He was clearly a Gen Z. He looked nervous as he clasped and unclasped his hands then began answering the question. After a series of other standard interview questions and his impressive response, I sat back to finally ask, “What can you bring to this company?” He hesitated. I wonder why most people either hesitate or gush on like robots presenting a recitation when asked this very question,. After he had responded to the question, Luba told him we would be in touch. I really doubted that in my mind. “Please call in the next applicant on your way out,” Luba said.
