Breel Embolo scored Switzerland’s lone goal in its Group G match against Cameroon in the 48th minute but did not celebrate on Thursday.
The reason for his action may not be unconnected to the fact that he is a Cameroonian by birth.

Embolo, in 2014, became a naturalised Swiss and made his professional debut for Basel that year. He currently plays for Monoco in Ligue.
