2023 AFCON: Peseiro To Submit Super Eagles Provisional List Dec 14

The head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro is set to submit a 55-man provisional list ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on December 14.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has stipulated that Nigeria and the 23 other participating teams must submit their provisional list on the said date.

CAF has also directed that the participating countries can name a maximum 27 players in their squad for the 2023 AFCON finals as against the usual 23.

The final roaster is expected to be submitted by January 3, 2024.

The Super Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.The competition will run from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
