The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has commissioned a newly built North-West presidential campaign office in Kaduna, donated by former Vice President Namadi Sambo.
At the commissioning, the PDP standard bearer commended the former Vice President, Architect Namadi Sambo, for donating the campaign office for the success of the party in the 2023 elections.
Atiku told supporters of the party, who gathered at the commissioning ceremony, to work hard for the party and ensure its success in the elections.
According to him, everyone that works for the party will be handsomely rewarded after the elections.
He said, “I want to appreciate the former Vice President, Architect Namadi Sambo for his generosity in donating this office. Everybody has been working to ensure our party wins the next elections and win very well. This time around, I can see the unity in the party and commitment of members of the party in Kaduna State and the zeal to ensure that we win the State for the party, the National Assembly elections and the presidential election.
“I can assure you, the party at the national level will support you and ensure victory in the state at all levels. If you work very well for the party and you work well for Atiku and he wins the presidency, you will be handsomely rewarded.”
The former Vice President Sambo, who spoke earlier, said members of the party in Kaduna State were very ready to deliver the state to Atiku.
He said the newly donated office was going to be the engine room of the party in the North-West zone and the state.
“Kaduna State is very ready to vote for you in the next general election in 2023. We are already working for your success and that of the party in the elections and this office is going to be the engine room.
“No doubt, we are going to succeed in this election because everyone is going to work together for the success,” Sambo said.
Also, at the event, Amb Usman Elkudan, one of the closest aides to former vice president Namadi Sambo, said this is just the beginning of his boss’ support for Atiku Abubakar’s candidature.
He promised their commitment to winning elections at all level.
