2023 Peace Achievers Awards To Honour Akunodezi, Dr. Bello, Aisha Waziri, Safina Asibi Mohammed, Ekeleoma, Others 

Amidst excitement, the 2023 Peace Achievers International Award recipients are looking forward to the day, a highly prestigious honour which rewards individuals who have made significant contributions to peace building and national development.

Among those to be honoured at the 12th edition of the annual event include, Uzochukwu Thankgod Akunodezi, Dr. Bala M. Bello, Aisha Abubakar Waziri, Safina Asibi Mohammed, Ekeleoma Nwakaego Chuku, Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, his Bauchi and Taraba counterpart, Bala Mohammed and Agbu Kefas respectively and others.

With the theme, “Sustainable Peace and Economic Growth in Africa”, the event organised by Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide comes up Oct. 21 at Abuja Continental hotel, formerly Sheraton Hotels Abuja.

The founder Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, speaking with newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday said daughter of the President, Dr. Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Dr. Gideon Chidiebere Osi and others will also be honoured.

The organisation had earlier hosted the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa where the former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan and others were honoured.

It has been at the forefront in promoting peace, education and community development in Africa.

Others to be honoured include, Hadiza Abdulkadir Kango, Dr Huda Fadoul Abacha, Amina Mohammed, Benaxir Omar, Aisha Abubakar waziri, Thompson Jeminat Temitope, Nlemchukwu and Godswill Onyedikachi.
