2027: APC Convention Shows Strong Support For Tinubu — Ugonoh

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Saidu Ugonoh, has described the party’s 2026 National Convention as a strong endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Ugonoh, a former governorship aspirant in Kogi State, made the assertion in a statement issued through his media office during the convention held at Eagle Square.

He congratulated President Tinubu and the APC on the successful hosting of the convention, noting that the large turnout of party faithful reflected growing confidence in the party’s leadership and direction.

Speaking from the venue, Ugonoh commended the president’s “transformational reforms” under the Renewed Hope agenda, which he said have made significant impact on the Nigerian economy.

He also praised Tinubu’s inclusive leadership style, describing it as a key factor behind the party’s expanding influence across the country.

According to him, the increasing number of states under APC control demonstrates wider acceptance of the party’s policies and leadership.

Ugonoh added that the alignment between federal and state governments under the APC has enhanced policy coordination and grassroots mobilisation, which he said would be critical to the party’s success in the 2027 elections.

“The massive turnout at the convention is a clear indication that the party remains strong, united and well-positioned ahead of 2027,” he said.

He urged party leaders and aspirants contesting positions at the convention to prioritise unity and collective interest, stressing that internal cohesion would be key to securing victory in future elections.

Ugonoh also wished delegates and participants a successful convention and safe return to their various destinations.
