Support groups under the Presidential Campaign Council’s Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate have marched in Kaduna ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign flag-off scheduled for Saturday, October 24, declaring their readiness to mobilise voters for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

The participants described Friday’s march as a demonstration of their commitment to Tinubu and the beginning of similar mobilisation activities planned across the country.

Speaking during the exercise, director of the Support Groups Mobilisation Directorate, Silas Ali Agara, said support groups across Kaduna State had mobilised to welcome the president and demonstrate their commitment ahead of the campaign rally.

Agara said the march was also intended to showcase the groups’ enthusiasm and readiness to participate in the wider mobilisation effort ahead of the 2027 general election.

He expressed confidence that the groups would sustain their activities throughout the campaign period, adding that similar solidarity marches would be organised in states visited by the president.

According to him, Friday’s exercise marked the beginning of a broader mobilisation strategy to demonstrate the presence and preparedness of support groups ahead of the president’s campaign engagements.

The Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who also serves as secretary of the Northwest support group structure, described the gathering as an initial demonstration of the mobilisation effort ahead of the campaign flag-off.

Goronyo expressed confidence that the groups would continue to coordinate their activities as the campaign progressed.
