Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Radda, has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no fear about victory in the 2027 general election, as the state remains loyal to the party.

Radda, who is seeking a second term, stated this while addressing journalists after submitting his N50 million APC expression of interest and nomination forms in Abuja.

The governor also declared that APC stakeholders in the state had adopted the consensus mode of primary election to ensure the continuity of internal cohesion and peace within the party.

“We are here to submit our expression of interest and nomination forms to our party, APC. We came, as usual, to do that with due respect to the party and its principles.

“In Katsina, the APC is doing very well, and we are expecting victory come 2027, Inshallah, at all levels in Katsina State. So, we are very grateful.

“We don’t have any fear. Katsina State is an APC state. All 361 ward councillors, 34 local government chairmen, 34 members of the State Assembly, 15 members of the National Assembly, as well as three senators, all belong to the APC.

“So, I think Katsina is one of the strongest APC states in the North-West of the country.

“We met with all the stakeholders in the state, and we all agreed that we are going to adopt consensus so that we can maintain the party’s strength and cohesion, as well as sustain peace within the party,” he said.

Governor Radda said he was seeking a second term in office to consolidate efforts already put in place toward improving security and infrastructure development in the state.

“This is what is giving us more strength, and that is why we have the support of the teeming masses in the state because they have seen what we have done.

“We are not candidates who will come and tell people, ‘I’m going to build a bridge, I’m going to build a school, I’m going to build a road.’

“We have already built roads, bridges, and other infrastructure. We are consolidating on everything we achieved during our first tenure to ensure full completion, full automation, full compliance, and then we are good to go,” he added.
