3 Young Boys Arrested For Killing Barber In Delta

The Delta State Police Command has arrested three suspects for allegedly killing a barber in Eku, Abraka local government area of the State.

The suspects were said to have engaged the deceased in a brawl following a misunderstanding over money, a development that led to the victim’s death.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Bright Edafe, who disclosed this via his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Monday, said the suspects are presently at the State CID in Asaba helping Police investigation.

SP Edafe wrote: “Three young boys in Eku Delta State contracted a barber in Abraka for #15,000. The Barber said he was too busy, so the boys asked for a refund. The Barber refunded #5,000 promising to pay the balance the next day, the three boys later went to his shop, to make their dreads, a fight ensued between them and the barber, during which one of them used an iron mopping stick to hit the barber, he was rushed to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

“The suspects are presently at State CID Asaba. Something that could have been avoided.”
