365 Bauchi Christian Pilgrims Arrive In Jordan

The Bauchi State contingent participating in the 2025 Christian Pilgrimage has arrived safely in Amman, Jordan, marking the beginning of a 10-day spiritual journey to Jordan and Israel.

The 366 pilgrims touched down at the Queen Alia International Airport in the early hours of Tuesday, after an almost seven-hour flight from Abuja.

LEADERSHIP reports that Jordan is the first port of call for the pilgrimage, ahead of the group’s onward movement to Israel for the continuation of the exercise.

Also, pilgrimage rites are scheduled to commence on Wednesday, December 31, 2025

Upon arrival, the pilgrims were screened and formally received by Jordanian immigration, customs, and other relevant authorities in line with international travel protocols.

They were later conveyed to their lodges and designated pilgrimage sites within Amman.

Team leader for the 2025 Pilgrimage, Elder Haruna Mandabs, commended bus leaders, the medical team, and other officials for their professionalism, discipline, and effective coordination of pilgrims under their care.

According to him, these efforts ensured orderliness and punctuality throughout the journey.

He explained that the contingent was expected to visit key biblical and historical sites designed to deepen and renew their faith in God during the pilgrimage.
