No fewer than 5,000 Kaduna State civil servants have started writing Computer-Based Test confirmation examinations after two years of probation period.

The exercise will span three days and the candidates will be tested across all cadres of the civil service,
Zone 2 has the highest number of participants with 3,000 candidates, while zones 1 and 3 have 1,000 candidates each.

Kaduna State head of service, Jummai Bako, who expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the CBT examinations, explained that the exercise was crucial for the confirmation of civil servants in the state.
Bako who made the remarks after inspecting Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres, said examinations were being held across three designated centres, including Kaduna State University (main campus) for Zone 2, Federal College of Education, Zaria for Zone 1, and Kaduna State University’s Kafanchan campus for Zone 3.

The Head of Service commended the state governor, Uba Sani for supporting and strengthening Kaduna State civil service through training and capacity building since he assumed office.

Bako enjoined civil servants to be dedicated to their job by maintaining good work ethics, given the training that they have been receiving since the present administration came on board.
