A medical outreach to canvass support for the candidature of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku has conducted free medical care for women across the northwest states.
The outreach, according to the project Manager, First Humanitarian Medic Initiative (FHMI), Hajia Samira Yau, was conducted free across in Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Katsina, Kano, Kaduna and Jigawa States.
She explained that during the exercise, over 52,400 women were targeted and subsequently benefited from the free medical outreach.
Hajia Yau also said that food items were distributed across seven Northwest States during the medical outreach.
She revealed that both the food distribution and medical intervention was put together by the PDP chieftain, Prince Arthur Eze in collaboration with FHMPI and States Women Forums.
She noted that the statewide exercise featured free medical consultation on various ailments, pregnancy and its complications, dietary diversity, Child nutrition and maternal care.
The beneficiaries were urged and advised to vote for the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the entire PDP flag-bearers, adding that “this is the only step towards the betterment and unifying the nation at large.”
