An auto crash yesterday claimed seven lives and injured 15 others along the Suleja -Lambata road in Niger State.
It was gathered that the accident which involved a Toyata Hiace occurred about 6:00 am at Gwachipe Bridge about 9km from Lambata as the vehicle was on its way from Katsina to Lagos.
An eye witness said the vehicle was carrying 22 people, and the accident occurred as a result of over speeding. He said it had a burst tyre and somersaulted.
Those injured were taken to Gawu Babangida Federal Medical Centre while the bodies of those who died were deposited at Suleja General Hospital mortuary.
