The CP shortly after decorating them in a brief ceremony held in his office at command headquarters at Gwadangaji in Birnin Kebbi metropolis, charged them to consider their promotions as a recognition of their hard work and dedication to their duties.

He also said their promotion followed the approval by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the inspector general of police, IGP Kayode Adeola Egbetokun and the police service commission.

DSP Ali Yusuf, who spoke on behalf of the newly promoted officers, commended the federal government, IGP and the Police Service Commission for finding them worthy to be promoted to their new ranks.
